前回に続き、入管問題を取り上げます。クルド人が暮らす地域はトルコ、イラク、イラン、シリアなどに広がっており、3,500万人とも4,800万人とも言われる彼らは、国を持たない最大の民族と呼ばれています。特にトルコ政府は厳しい弾圧と同化政策を課しているため、難民となるクルド人は後を絶ちません。ところが、日本政府は今年（2022年）7月に初めて１人を難民と認定したのみで、日本国内におよそ2,000人はいるとされるクルド人の中には、長年、難民申請中であるにもかかわらず、仮放免という不安定な立場に置かれている人々がいます。出身国での過酷な体験から逃れてきたクルドの人びとが、日本でさらに苦境に立たされていることを偶然知った１人の会社員（周香織さん）に、彼らとともに歩んだ20年近い年月と、今現在の支援についてお話いただきました。
