NHKと民放キー局（日本テレビ、テレビ朝日、TBS、テレビ東京、フジテレビ）は、６局連動で、国連と「SDGメディア・コンパクト」加盟メディアによる気候危機を食い止めるための共同キャンペーンに参加し、キャンペーン共通ロゴを使用したオリジナルの共同制作動画の2024年版を制作しました。
各局のアナウンサーやキャラクターが勢ぞろいするこのステートメント動画を通じて、洪水や熱波・山火事など世界中で異常気象が続く中、一人でも多くの方々が気候変動について考え、アクションを起こすきっかけになればと願っています。
動画は、９月１９日（木） 午後１時から、国連広報センターのHPで公開しています。 キャンペーンの主旨に賛同いただける方であれば、研修等でも自由にお使いいただけます。 （著作権は６局にあります。営利目的の使用は禁止されています）
また、全国70ヵ所（北海道、宮城県、首都圏、愛知県、大阪府、広島県、福岡県等を含む）に設置された株式会社 LIVE BOARDのデジタルサイネージにて、9月20日～30日まで配信される予定です。

●NHK民放６局連動の環境スペシャル番組を放送 気候変動で“食”が大ピンチ！
また、９月２９日（日）に、1.5℃の約束キャンペーンの特集番組として「気候変動で“食”が大ピンチ！」を放送します。
世界的に観測史上最高の暑さとなった今年の夏、コメ不足や野菜・魚介類の異変・オリーブオイルやコーヒーの値上がりなど、地球温暖化の影響が暮らしを直撃しています。
３年目を展開している国連「SDGメディア・コンパクト」 加盟メディアによる気候危機を食い止めるための共同キャンペーン「1.5℃の約束 – いますぐ動こう、気温上昇を止めるために。」(※１)の一環として放送する今回の環境スペシャル番組は、気候変動と“食”がテーマ。NHKのスタジオに特別に作られた“レストラン1.5”に民放キャスターたちが集結。2100年には消えてしまいかねない食材を紹介、さらには未来の食事、温暖化の解決策を模索する各局の世界各地からのリポートなどを交え、最新情報満載でお届けします。

■今回の番組での環境への取り組み
今回のスペシャル番組は出演者とスタッフで、グリーンメモと呼ばれるサステナブル・プロダクションへの意識を共有。LEDスタジオで収録、美術セットにリユース・リサイクル素材を取り入れ、番組後も活用できるものを選定し、環境負荷の低減に努めています。また今回もBBCが開発したCO2カリキュレーター(アルバート)を用いて、番組制作に伴って排出されたCO2の量を測定、番組でも紹介する取り組みを続けています。
